Police-embedded mental health social worker from St Vincent's Hospital wrote to Smith describing what he had experienced as "coercion and control … within your relationship" and offered to refer him to a domestic and family violence service. This was a police-embedded professional who characterised the conduct as DFV — the same characterisation NSW Police was not applying to @kandykingX's conduct.

Tony was charged with breaching bail after Rushton reported receiving a call. Tony says he spent the night in custody, then went straight to Optus after the court granted bail against police opposition. He obtained records with no listed mobile call and gave them to Sgt Barlow at Day Street. Tony says Barlow requested police records from Optus, and Hammer then told him for the first time that the alleged call was through Signal. At bail, the prosecutor had relied on the phone number’s registration to Tony and described the case as strong.

Police searched for communication records covering 1–7 September 2023 and found none. Rushton’s sworn statement alleges a missed call from Tony’s number, 0433 813 180, on 4 September. LECC Exhibit — New Offence Requirement
Standalone exhibit documenting a closed reporting loop. A Kings Cross officer stated three times in August 2025 that police would act only on a new offence. An offence occurred on the day that advice was given, was reported within four days with three dated attachments, and the officer replied that he had not read it. No Event Number was issued. Every alternative channel he named had already refused in writing.

Inspector Winch — Kings Cross Communication Ban
On 16 February 2025, Inspector Winch wrote that Constable Dellenty would block Smith's email and directed: "Do not contact any Staff or Officer attached to Kings Cross Police, unless in CASE OF EMERGENCY." The same email stated that the brief had been served; the documented service date was later, on 29 May 2025. The supplied 15-page email chain includes the earlier 8–9 December 2024 correspondence.

Smith asked Inspector Winch on 28 June 2026 what documents comprised Brief Item 7, why they were absent from the served brief, whether they remained held, and who made the Queensland Health referral. Winch did not answer those questions. She replied by restating that Smith had been told not to contact any Kings Cross Police officer except in an emergency.

Letter from Acting Superintendent David El-Badawi advising that the Command "will not be addressing any further correspondence from you on this matter," directing Smith to call Triple Zero in an emergency. Cybertrace describes an account named Tony Smith asking for an ANZ bank statement to copy its formatting. The account says it bought one on the dark web and that “it is for dodgy stuff”. Cybertrace inferred an attempt at fraud, but did not confirm that it was completed.

Apple Support: Tony reports photos shared to Ike Rushton and originals deleted
Tony told Apple that Ike Rushton accessed his iPad while Tony was at work and shared his photos to Rushton’s account. The supplied screenshots show 483 items dated 25 December 2020–6 April 2021. Tony says his device was used without his knowledge to transfer all photos in that range, delete his originals and empty the bin. He asked Apple to trace the account access. Apple arranged a callback.

The followers export shows beat_slaya dated 26 July 2023, two months before the other visible entries dated 27–28 September. Tony identifies it as his first follower. Cybertrace later assessed that beat_slaya was likely operated by Issac Rushton, citing the account’s partially revealed email, matching profile picture and Ike Rush bio. The report states that this attribution was not confirmed. Read together, the export and Cybertrace assessment connect the earliest visible follower with the account investigated as likely Rushton’s.

Formal correspondence to the NSW Minister for Police titled "Evidence of False Information Provided to Executive Government." One-page response from the Manager, Ministerial and Executive Services, sent on the Police Minister's behalf on 19 February 2026. It states that the matters had been investigated on a number of occasions, that Kings Cross Police Area Command considered there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the identity-theft claims, and that NSW Police could provide no further assistance without additional evidence. It does not address the specific documentary discrepancies raised in the 23 January correspondence.

The complete 16-page redacted Queensland Health release. The assessment states Smith had "nil history on CIMHA," records no identified homicidal thoughts and a denial of current suicidal thoughts, records intact capacity, and concludes "no rationale for MHA" and "Close to RCACT."
