Smith correspondence to the Queensland Premier
What I asked the Premier to do
Tony wrote to Queensland Premier David Crisafulli asking for action over the NSW Police referral that brought Queensland mental-health clinicians to him in June 2025. In his letter, he said police falsely reported a Triple Zero threat and misrepresented a hospital visit as a psychiatric admission. He connected the referral to his complaints about police, citing the officer’s follow-up email and a NSW Police no-record decision. He requested a Crime and Corruption Commission investigation, a formal complaint to NSW authorities, reforms to interstate welfare referrals and protection from further retaliation.

That your office ensure I am not subject to further cross-border retaliation while these matters are under investigation.
